New Super Mario Bros 2 to introduce paid DLC

New Super Mario Bros 2 will be released in the UK on August 17th and will have paid downloadable content, Nintendo has revealed.
At its Nintendo Direct briefing earlier today the platform holder's CEO Satoru Iwata detailed premium content, which will include additional stages for the game's Coin Rush mode.
Iwata said the DLC content will be developed by the team following completion of the main game and promised to reveal further pricing details in the future.
New Super Mario Bros 2 will be all about collecting as many gold coins as possible, as you'll see in the new trailer below.
