Metal Gear Solid 4 to finally get Trophy support

Four years after its release, PS3 blockbuster Metal Gear Solid 4 is finally set to receive Trophy support.

The long-missing feature will be added this August via a budget version of the Hideo Kojima stealth-em-up, plus a patch for existing owners via the PlayStation Network.

Andriasang reports Kojima-san is set to hold a Tokyo MGS 25th Anniversary Event on August 30, where he'll make an announcement related to his vision of connecting people.

Peace Walker's save file "Transfarring" feature supposedly served as a test for this vision.
