Battlefield 3 lead designer resigns

David Goldfarb leaves Swedish developer DICE

Battlefield 3 lead designer David Goldfarb has confirmed he's left DICE.

Goldfarb played a key role in the making of the incredible BF3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

He's yet to reveal what his next move will be, but has hinted at work on book and film script, according to IGN.

"It was time to move on for me," he told the site. But despite his departure, Goldfarb insists that Battlefield fans "have nothing to worry about."

DICE recently revealed a selection of "key features" for Battlefield 3's upcoming Armored Kill DLC. Set for release in September, the DLC promises to "up the ante for vehicular mayhem".
