Mass Effect 3 single player DLC 'will probably focus around Shepard'

Excluding the Extended Cut update, all Mass Effect 3 DLC to date has been multiplayer focused, but BioWare's hoping to change that.

Producer Mike Gamble told Joystiq: "We want to do single player DLC. We want to do single player, maybe more multiplayer if people still play it."

Mass Effect 3 is Shepard's story," Gamble added, "so the single player DLC for Mass Effect 3 will probably focus around Shepard."

BioWare is to release a new Mass Effect 3 multiplayer DLC pack titled 'Earth' today.

The studio has also confirmed that the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 will ship with the recently released Extended Cut DLC on disc.
