The Ouya team has revealed a limited edition version of the Ouya console being offered to potential backers during the last week of its Kickstarter campaign.
The Limited Edition Backer Exclusive Ouya will be wrapped in 'Rich brown brushed metal finish', and come with a matching controller.
It will be available for the final week of the month-long Kickstarter campaign, which has so far raised $6,138,779 (a good deal over the original $950,000 target).
To get the limited console though, you'll have to commit $140 rather than the $99 cost of the normal machine. The added expense is apparently to "cover the small production run".
The system, built by Fuseproject, will pack a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core ARM processor, as well as 1GB of memory, 8 GB of flash storage and two USB ports.
On a side note, the firm has also changed the Ouya controller's four face buttons from all 'O's to 'O', 'U', 'Y' and 'A' buttons. Geddit?
