Call of Duty Elite surpasses 12 million registered users

Call of Duty: Elite, the social online service for Modern Warfare 3 fans, has surpassed twelve million registered users, publisher Activision has said.

A premium version of Elite, which costs about £35 for each user, provides access to all Modern Warfare 3 DLC as well as other exclusive content.

Activision on Thursday revealed that the premium service has been bought more than 2.3 million times.
