The developer will release four campaign add-on packs between the Borderlands 2 release date on September 18 and June 2013.
Retailing individually for $9.99, they'll each feature "several hours of gameplay and introduce new adventures, allies, enemies and environments".
As previously reported, a Borderlands 2 Season Pass enabling players to pre-purchase the four add-ons will be available when the shooter launches next month. It will be priced at $29.99 on PS3 and PC, and 2400 Microsoft Points (£20.56) on Xbox 360.
