Konami has confirmed a PES 2013 release date of September 21 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Earlier this week the publisher detailed the first two rounds of PES 2013 DLC.

And Peter Moore, second-in-command at Electronic Arts, told CVG the company "always welcome competition from our good friends at Konami" after review scores for the new PES suggested it is again vying for FIFA's crown.

CVG's PES 2013 review calls the first of this year's football contenders "the finest PES of the generation, delightfully recreating the ebb and flow of the modern game."
