Nintendo of Japan has confirmed a November 15 launch date for the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro.
The peripheral will be priced at 1,500 yen (£12). Its release has yet to be confirmed for outside of Japan.
Nintendo opted not to include a second analogue stick when it designed the larger version of the 3DS, instead plumping for a bigger Circle Pad Pro peripheral, which is slightly different to the original.
Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said in July that the firm rejected the idea of adding a second Circle Pad to the 3DS XL in favour of offering greater battery life and a smaller form factor.
