Visceral Games job listings hint at MOBA game development

Could the Dead Space developer be delving into the RTS genre?

Dead Space developer Visceral Games appears to be developing a new free-to-play MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game for PC.

The firm hints as much in a number of recent vacancy listings at the studio. A global community manager listing for EA's free-to-play division 'Play4Free' specifically asks that the candidate has an "unhealthy passion for MOBA games" (thanks IGN).

Likewise, a separate listing for a game designer asks for "experience on MOBA, Action RTS, Action RPG, or Related Genres".

As for platform hints, there's a new listing for a character concept artist on "an upcoming PC action title", which could also be related to the same project.

The Play4Free label has already served up RTS action in the form of Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, along with multiplayer games in the Battlefield franchise.

With Visceral presumably approaching the closing stages of development on Dead Space 3 - the expected concluding chapter of a trilogy, due out February 2013 - could the developer be getting its hands dirty with a new MOBA game next?
