Black Ops 2 street date claimed broken in parts of Europe

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 could be in the wild two weeks ahead of its official release, with a retailer in Slovakia having reportedly broken the street date.

As spotted by callofduty.4players.de, what looks like a retail PS3 version of the game's Hardened Edition was yesterday being listed by a private seller on Slovakian website Bazo.sk.

The product listing in question has since been deleted.

Photos of the product that was up for sale match official images of the Black Ops 2 Hardened Edition, but there was no image of the game disc itself or any accompanying footage to prove its legitimacy. It was also on sale for just €40, about half of its retail value.

When contacted by CVG, Activision declined to comment on reports that the game is already on sale ahead of the Black Ops 2 release date of November 13.
