XCOM: Enemy Unknown: More DLC promised in 2013

2K pledges continued download content support into next year

2K Games has revealed that it plans to release further download content for XCOM: Enemy Unknown in 2013.

Two packs have been revealed so far: the currently-available Elite Solider Pack, and the upcoming Slingshot Content Pack. 2K says it has more in the way.

"The title is proving to be a critical and commercial success," said the publisher, before confirming that the game "is being supported with two downloadable add-on content packages available this year, with additional content planned for 2013".

The Slingshot Content Pack comprises new Council missions, the publisher has previously announced. According to 2K, the pack will have gamers "meet an enigmatic Triad operative, divert an alien ship's course, and do battle with the aliens in the skies over China." It'll feature three new maps, and no official release date or price has been confirmed.
