The Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 has been dubbed the Special Edition edition, and BioWare has revealed just how it will differ from its PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts.
External Producer for Mass Effect 3, Melanie Faulknor, has detailed the new features and extra content that Mass Effect 3 on Wii U will offer, on the BioWare blog.
First and foremost, the game has been utilised to take full advantage of the Wii U's GamePad. Faulkner explains that "you can control your squadmates, utilise both Shepard and your squad's abilities, and even play Mass Effect 3 all from the GamePad".
The Mass Effect 3 Special Edition will also include the From Ashes and Extended Cut DLC, as well as the Rebellion, Resurgence and Earth mulitplayer packs, and a bonus heavy weapon.
An update of the interactive comic book Genesis will also be included, which allows those new to the story to get caught up.
