Users will be able to live stream multiplayer League Play games, as well as their webcam and audio commentary, while playing.
Black Ops 2 live streams will be viewable on YouTube via web browsers, mobile and tablets through Call of Duty Elite as well as individual YouTube user channels.
Elite viewers will be able to see the player card of the user that is streaming and check out their class loadouts, recent match data and career stats.
Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia said: "With our competitive play and eSports initiatives, we wanted to deliver live streaming capabilities built right into Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, because Call of Duty is not only fun and exciting to play, but we believe it will be just as exciting to watch.
"By making the capability of live streaming as accessible as possible to our fans, straight from a player's console without the need for any additional hardware or sophisticated setups, we are empowering our fans to share their multiplayer experiences."
Activision has confirmed a Black Ops 2 release date of November 13.
Speaking to analysts and investors last night following the publication of the company's third quarter financial results, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said Black Ops 2 "has the potential to be [the] biggest selling game of all time".
