Medal of Honor: Warfighter military consultants face discipline

Seven Navy SEALs who consulted with EA on Medal of Honor: Warfighter have faced disciplinary action for their efforts.

According to a report by CBS, members of SEAL Team Six have faced punishment for providing confidential information to EA.

In the lead up to Medal of Honor's October release, EA frequently promoted the involvement of the military in an effort to emphasise the game's authenticity. Now, seven members of the Navy SEALs have received letters of reprimand and their pay docked by 50 percent for two months.

The report claims that the team - some of whom were involved in the raid that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden - provided classified material to EA, and had violated an "unwritten code that SEALs are silent warriors who shun the spotlight." All are still on active duty.
