The latest Xbox 360 dashboard update quietly increased the console's compatibility with USB drives to a 32GB limit.
The update, released in late October, added the Internet Explorer web browser, Xbox Video, compatibility with Smartglass and more, but the expansion of USB drive compatibility went unmentioned.
An MS rep has however confirmed the new feature. "The more our customers use their profile and download digital content, the larger the file size necessary to store that content and move it between consoles gets," the rep told Joystiq.
"Therefore we increased the size of the memory to enable our customers to take more of their Xbox profile with them on the go."
