Nintendo has released a new Wii U advert for Mass Effect 3 Special Edition.

BioWare's first ever title on a Nintendo home console offers a new control scheme designed to incorporate the Wii U GamePad. Features include the ability to position squad mates and utilise their abilities with the tablet controller.

Running at 720p, the Special Edition also features bonus DLC including the Extended Cut and an interactive back story covering previous events in the Mass Effect universe.

However, publisher EA said this week that the upcoming Omega DLC will not be released for Nintendo's new console.
