Sega preparing its own 3D classics for 3DS starting with Space Harrier

Sega is pulling Space Harrier off the archive shelves for a revival on 3DS.
That's according to a report out of Japan (via Tiny Cartridge), which reports that the 3DS-bound game will be a port of the arcade original with added support for the 3DS's widescreen profile and obligatory stereoscopic 3D.
The report also claims that this will be the first of multiple classic 3DS remakes that Sega plans to release on the portable, as the home of Sonic seemingly seeks to pick up the '3D Classics' line that Nintendo appears to have abandoned.
There was no word on a release date.
