Hogrocket, the Liverpool-based indie studio formed last year by senior ex-Bizarre Creations employees, has shut its doors.
The team created Tiny Invaders for iPhone, a frantic puzzler-turned action game which was executed with console-grade class.
"Unfortunately Hogrocket is on indefinite hiatus and the three of us have all moved onto new things," Peter Collier told GamesIndustry.biz.
"This was due to a combination of factors, ranging from geographical to financial. It's sad but the three of us all learned a lot."
