Xbox Live Gold: free this weekend

Users new to Xbox Live will have the chance to experience online multiplayer, Internet Explorer, Video Kinect and a whole host of online activities, for free.
The free Xbox Live Gold offer is open to Xbox owners from Thursday November 29 until Sunday December 2.
Major Nelson reports that "we're unlocking Xbox LIVE Gold in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States."
For some reason Europe isn't among those who can take part in this promotion.
