Wii U, 3DS get new firmware updates

Sizeable downloads "improve system stability"

Nintendo has released another firmware update for the Wii U, this time to improve system stability.


The latest update is reported to be 625MB, with Nintendo claiming it may take up to an hour to complete. Users are also warned to not power off the console during the update.

A 3DS firmware update is also available, which takes the portable to Version 4.5.0-10U.

According to Nintendo (via IGN) the download will provide: "Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience."
