6th Dec 2012 | 20:14

Crytek has confirmed a Crysis 3 release date of February 19 in US and February 22 in Europe.

Crytek boss Cevat Yerli confirmed the news at an EA preview event last night, reports Joystiq.

As previously reported, the EA-published title doesn't support Windows XP, but manages to scale down to a minimum RAM requirement of 2GB. A DirectX 11 graphics card with at least 1GB of video RAM is a baseline requirement, too.

It was also announced today that Albert Hughes, the co-director of films such as Menace II Society, Dead Presidents, From Hell and Book of Eli, is producing a cinematic video series for Crysis 3, entitled 'The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3'.
