Capcom and Tecmo have joined the list of third-party publishers now releasing retail 3DS games digitally via the eShop.
Tecmo released Dead or Alive: Dimensions via the Japanese 3DS eShop today for 5,400 Yen ($65, £40), reports Siliconera.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will be released digitally in Japan on December 27 for the budget price of 2,600 ($31, £20), but it won't include the RE: Revelations demo included with the full retail version.
The Mercenaries 3D digital re-release will also be updated to address the issue of users' inability to delete save files in the original cart release.
Both titles were launch-window games for 3DS at retail last year.
There's currently no word on either of these games coming to Western eShops.
