The long-rumoured but as-yet-unannounced DLC will hit the North American PSN as part of next week's store date, according to the latest PlayStation Blogcast, which was listened to by Joystiq.

The Scorchers is a clan which was originally intended to feature in Rage before being cut prior to release.

Rage: The Scorchers was classified by PEGI back in the summer, and more recently a list of PS3 Trophies for the content was been published online. They reference a campaign, as well as roly-poly and video poker mini-games.
