Bethesda has confirmed that long-rumoured DLC for id Software shooter
Titled The Scorchers, it will feature a new single player adventure spanning six fresh areas, in which you fight alongside new allies to defend the Hager Settlment from a crazy bandit clan.
It will also include new mini-games, while letting players participate in a fresh season of Mutant Bash TV and wield the brutal Nailgun.
In addition the DLC will include a new high difficulty mode called 'Ultra-Nightmare', plus an 'Extended Play' option allowing players to continue past the original ending of the game in order to continue collecting items and achievements.
The Scorchers will be priced at $4.99/400 Microsoft Points (£3.43). Check out the first batch of screenshots below:
