Far Cry 3 opens 2013 atop the UK chart

Ubisoft's acclaimed first-person shooter Far Cry 3 has entered 2013 at the top of the UK all format charts.
Due to discount promotion across retail,
Ubisoft chief executive Yves Guillemot claimed that the Far Cry 3 delay in production had significantly improved the title's quality.
"Far Cry 3 has achieved among the best playtest scores in Ubisoft's history, confirming the game's outstanding quality," he said.
CVG's Far Cry 3 review said the title was one of the best of 2012.
Elsewhere in the charts, Electronic Arts' FIFA 13 climbed to second place, while Square Enix's
