Wii U owners are unlikely to get ports of recent Capcom games on their new console, the publisher has said.
Since its release in November 2012, a publishers such as Activision, EA and Ubisoft have brought previously-released high-profile titles to Wii U including Assassin's Creed 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Batman: Arkham City and Mass Effect 3. But Capcom boss Christian Svensson has said the publisher is unlikely to do the same.
"With regard to WiiU, in general we're looking forward, not back so late ports are generally not on the table," he told fans on the official Capcom blog.
Capcom is due to release Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U and 3DS in March - an expanded version of 2010's Monster Hunter Tri, and the only confirmed Wii U game from Capcom.
