Borderlands 2 PC patch fixes weapon bugs

Also adds support for gamepad text input in Steam's Big Picture mode

Gearbox has rolled out a new Borderlands 2 patch for the PC version of the game.

All you'll need to do to download the update it is to restart Steam. Here are the patch notes:

  • Added support for text input using the gamepad for Steam's Big Picture mode.
  • Fixed a bug causing players to sometimes get stuck in the "Whoops" mission of the Captain Scarlett DLC.
  • Deathtrap can no longer restore an enemy's shields, even though it was hilarious.
  • Fixed a bug that caused off-hand weapons to sometimes deal improper damage while Gunzerking.
  • Addressed an issue where shotguns did not receive full damage boosts from skills and gear.

Earlier this month the Australian Classification Board seemingly outed an upcoming Borderlands 2 DLC retail bundle featuring previously released game add-ons Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty and Mr.Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.
