Xbox Live account migration streamlined

Microsoft has significantly streamlined the method of migrating an Xbox Live account to a different region.
The account migration process has carried a reputation for being particularly laborious, in some cases taking up to a month, according to customer accounts.
But the new, streamlined process allows the migration to take place with just a few clicks, according to Microsoft. The migration tool can be used once every three months and will move a user's Gamertag, achievements, points and remaining time on a Gold subscription.
However, some content and settings, region specific items and promotional material will not be transferred. Subscription services such as Xbox Music subscriptions will also be exempt.
Nick Ferguson, a senior producer at Microsoft Studios, announced the switch on his personal Twitter account.
Xbox LIVE users can now migrate their accounts to a new region! (sorry it took so long) live.xbox.com/en-GB/AccountM...
