Due to launch on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC, the game will feature "HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience", according to the official announcement.
The title will also be available to download digitally on PS3 and PC, priced at $49.99 in the States, with digital versions for Xbox 360 and Wii U to follow.
The console version will include a new enemy, an extra difficulty mode and improvements to Raid Mode such as fresh weapons, skill sets and the opportunity to play as Hunk and other characters.
Revelations will also take full advantage of stat-tracking portal Residentevil.net, with content available to users once the game launches.
Revelations launched on Nintendo 3DS in January 2012, and was widely praised for its slower paced, more traditional take on survival horror.
