The latest movie shows the first game's protagonists - joined by a fifth playable character, Navy man John Morgan - taking on the undead on another former island paradise after their ship is wrecked by a furious storm.
Deep Silver has announced a Dead Island Riptide release date of April 23, 2013 in North America and April 26 in Europe.
