Phantasy Star Online 3: first shots!

Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution is the latest update to Sega's excellent Phantasy Star Online series for GameCube - and PSO III offers a whole lot more.
PSO III features an entirely new style of strategic combat, making use of the 'big in Japan' gaming nuances of turn-based card collection and deck settings, whilst maintaining the online team-based scrapping tactics. Hopefully, it's not glorified snap, in case you started panicking.
A smart aspect is that PSO III now allows for online lobby chat for upgrades and tactics, although it doesn't say anything about anyone mediating this lobby. Then you simply journey to the planet surface to engage in the turn-based card-strategic fighting system.
Obviously, PSO III continues the game from its previous tales on the planet Ragol, and ought to appeal to existing PSO players who fancy something new - or gamers who like the strategic plotting invoked by card play.
We'll try this out in the next couple of weeks and report back with the full juicy 'hunters and huntresses' online and offline GameCube experience. Will it really be a revolution?
