Arkane Studios' fantasy RPG Arx Fatalis has already had PC users spellbound, and it will soon be the turn of the Xbox fraternity to taste its adventure magic.
Combining role-playing with stealth-orientated antics, real-time combat and puzzle-solving, the title is set in a fictional world ripe for exploration, unfolding events engrossing thanks to an in-depth and involving plot. Knock yourself silly with today's ton of new screenshots.
One of Arx Fatalis's most intriguing gameplay elements is its magic system, which requires players to wave their wand (well, trace shapes with the mouse in the case of the PC version) to cast spells.
For the Xbox version of the game this means using the directional pad on the controller to draw the shape of spells (or runes as they are in Arx Fatalis), each one requiring a different combination of direction presses. That's just wizard.
