Brand spanking new horror screens: Sony's Siren revealed

Siren is a PS2 survival-horror type game from SCE; that much we know, but if you're looking for more detailed information than that, tough. Nobody appears to know diddly-squat about the title at the moment, though judging from the two screenshtos we've managed to get our hands on, Siren seems to be edging toward the concussed weirdness of the Silent Hill series, rather than the more straight forward zombie-executing frippery of your Resident Evils.
One of the in-game screenshots appears to show the hero of the piece holding some kind of iron bar in vaguely threatening manner, which is probably for the best as the next shot depicts a dishevelled young lady baring down on you with a cut-throat razor. Ulp.
Misty atmosphere, contempory setting, and absolutely bugger all else information; we're intrigued. More on Siren as soon as we get it...
