It's got a new name, but Forbidden Siren, the game formerly known simply as Siren is looking every bit as unhinged in these new screenshots as it did when we first chanced upon it.
A Japanese gloom-fest of blood curdling proportions, Siren lets you control a total of 10 different characters as they go about their business of attempting not to fall prey to the various horrors that abound.
Folk with strange grimaces etched on their fizzogs and blood seeping out of the eyes are par for the course, but for some reason we're more unnerved by the sight of that well - reminds us of the horror movie 'Ring'.
Forbidden Siren is set to appear in March 2004 on PS2.
