Fallout steals in with new media
20th Nov 2003 | 14:27
Interplay's Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is based around the PC Fallout RPG series and, heading to Xbox and PS2, is a gritty third-person action-adventure with a dose of dark humour. The game, in a nutshell, finds players joining the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and attempting to keep the peace in a post-apocalyptic world.
With the ultimate objective of trying to save the human race, no less, Brotherhood of Steel initiates will be adventuring in a world that lives by the law of the gun, fighting against mutants and a host of other nasty radioactive nightmares.
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was expected before Christmas, but recent wranglings between Interplay and Vivendi over distribution deals has thrown its release date into questions. It's possible that we won't see the game now till early 2004.
