Two unannounced 'major Ubisoft games' set for release by April 2014

Microsoft 'to scrap Xbox Points'

The original Xbox only used real currency and people whined about it, when they went to points with the Xbox 360 people whined about that too. Many people seem to get off on doing that.

At least with points I can get $20 worth for about $15-16 at many stores ($10 on Black Friday), so a $5 game costs less. For all the people that complain about 20 or 40 points left, that's 25-50 cents (USD). If you have a PS3 or a Wii I bet you have the same amount or more stuck in your account with no way to spend it without adding more.

All three consoles work the same. Besides, that small amount is trivial, I have more than that laying on the floor under my car seat, and many times more than that in bottle deposit returns laying in a box.

Gran Turismo 6 announced for PS3

Hopefully they've eradicated the problems of standard and premium cars, sterile nature of the career mode, existence of B-Spec mode, generic looking tracks, ropey damage model, non existence of true dynamic weather on all tracks.

I also do NOT want to see anything like 184 Skylines, 216 Mitsubishi Lancers, 170 Mazda RX7's and 230 NSX's an then a bunch of tiny small Japanese only square box cars and less than 100 popular decent models to make up that 1200.

Don't get me wrong I love Gran Turismo but I feel there's too many problems with Gran Turismo 5. Hopefully there's not a ludicrously expensive premium version either...

We'll probably never get the full story, but all of this is rather underhanded. Why buy out the studio who has one of your ex-employees (Who helped with one of your now cash cow series), only to fire him and freeze his projects for an indefinite amount of time?

As if THQ going under wasn't bad enough, Ubi come along and kick the guy in the balls, while simultaneously shoving a cactus up his arse.
