Xbox One: E3 showcase will feature 'historic IP' from Rare

Speaking to Polygon, Spencer reaffirmed Rare's importance to Microsoft and mentioned the studio may exhibit a game at E3 2013.
"Fans of Rare and Rare IP I think will be pleased with what we're going to show at E3," he said. "We had a limited amount of time today and a lot of story to tell. But Rare remains an incredibly important part of our development capability.
"That historic IP that they've built I think can play a real important role on Xbox One."

Microsoft has pledged to release 15 exclusive games in the first year of Xbox One, Spencer said during the company's Xbox One presentation.
Exclusives confirmed so far include Forza V and the Remedy-developed Quantum Break.
Microsoft's pre-E3 conference will take place on June 10 in Los Angeles.
